Supreme Court should protect emergency care
The Supreme Court should reject Idaho’s contention that its laws banning abortion supersede federal emergency care protections.
It seems clear that hospitals are ignoring the federal law because they are scared of being forced into a position where they might have to break a state abortion law. That shouldn’t be the case; the federal law supersedes state laws.
