Kansas City Chiefs trade up, select Texas WR Xavier Worthy in first round of NFL draft
Worthy was the second player from Texas selected in the first round of the draft, joining Byron Murphy II, who was taken 16th overall by the Seattle Seahawks.
The Kansas City Chiefs traded up in the NFL draft to select Texas Longhorns wide receiver Xavier Worthy with the 28th overall pick in Round 1 on Thursday.
