Three Massachusetts spellers eliminated during Scripps National Spelling Bee quarterfinals
Each competitor was eliminated Wednesday morning, leaving just 45 qualifiers to tackle multiple-choice vocabulary questions and spelling assignments later that night, according to the bee’s website.
