Nor’easter brings wind, rain, and snow to Massachusetts before intensifying Thursday
Most snow accumulation will come north of the Massachusetts Turnpike, in the central and western parts of the state as well as in New Hampshire, Vermont, and Maine. The most intense precipitation is likely to wrap up by Thursday afternoon.
Below Interstate 90, the storm will continue to bring rain, with about 1 to 3 inches falling by the end of Thursday. The Boston area will also generally see just rain — nearly 2 inches — with some scattered flakes that don’t stick.
